Dragon Ash é uma banda japonesa que funde punk, rock, alternative, reggae e hip-hop com influências hispânicas, estabelecendo um gênero denominado no japão de "mixture-kei".
Parte do apelo do Dragon Ash (e do hip hop japonês em geral) são as letras positivas com foco em idéias de como seguir seus sonhos e ser sincero com seus amigos e família, ao invés do estilo gangues, armas e violência, temas do "Gangsta Rap" Americano.
