Biografia:
Diana Krall nasceu em 16 de Novembro de 1964, na cidade de Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. Começou a estudar piano aos 4 anos de idade. No colegio começou a tocar num pequeno grupo de jazz. Aos 15 anos, começou a tocar regularmente em vários restaurantes de sua cidade natal (Nanaimo).
O seu estilo chamou a atenção do baixista Ray Brown, que a colocou em contato com influentes professores e produtores de música. Aos 17 anos, ganhou uma bolsa de estudos no Vancouver Jazz Festival
