David Eric Grohl (Warren, 14 de Janeiro de 1969) é ex-baterista da banda Nirvana e atual vocalista do Foo Fighters dos Estados Unidos da América.

Desde cedo tocava bateria em muitas bandas punk, e aos dezesseis anos, no começo da década de 1980, entrou para a banda Scream. A primeira vez que Dave viu o Nirvana tocando foi durante uma turnê européia do Scream. Depois, com a turnê cancelada, terminus da banda Scream e ainda alguns problemas financeiros ele ligou para Buzz Osborne
