Biografia:
O Scars on Broadway surgiu como um projeto solo de Daron Malakian após o System of a Down entrar em hiato em 2006. Serj Tankian já vinha trabalhando em um projeto solo e Malakian decidiu fazer o mesmo. Inicialmente, a banda contava com John Dolmayan, também do System of a Down, na bateria e apenas os dois eram fixos. Daron foi fazendo ensaios e jams com outros músicos até firmar a formação que contaria com, além de Dolmayan e o próprio Malakian, Danny Shamoun, Dominic Cifarelli e Franky Perez.
