Biografia:
Immortal é uma banda de black metal da Noruega formada em 1990. É considerada uma das pioneiras do estilo.
Um dos ícones da cena black metal norueguesa, o Immortal foi fundado em 1990 por Abbath (Old Funeral) e Demonaz (Amputation), e lançaram o debut Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism. A bateria teve uma alternância de nomes como Armagedda, Grim (ex-Borknagar) e Hellhammer, até o álbum Battles In The North. A partir de Blizzard Beasts entra para assumir o posto de batera Reidar Horghagen, mais conhecido como Horgh.
