Biografia:
Court Yard Hounds es un dúo de música Folk y Country fundado por las hermanas Marti Maguire y Emily Robison. Ellas junto con Natalie Maines hicieron Dixie Chicks, quienes se separaron en el año 2008. Estas hermanas se juntan nuevamente a grabar en 2009 pero sin Maines, quien no se sentía preparada para abarcar un nuevo proyecto musical. Decidieron hacer un grupo con un nombre diferente y resulta Court Yard hounds, liderando esta vez a Robison como la lider vocalista, el album debut estuvo a cargo de Columbia Records.
