Christian Death é uma banda de rock gótico americana formada em Orange County, Califórnia, em 1979 por Rozz Williams. Com grandes mudanças de formação ao longo dos anos, Christian Death manteve "uma posição de confronto implacável contra a religião organizada e a moralidade convencional".
Williams foi eventualmente acompanhado pelo guitarrista Rikk Agnew da banda The Adolescents, James McGearty no baixo e George Belanger na bateria. Esta formação foi responsável pela produção do trabalho mais conhecido da banda

I might do some Cult next tho' - how about SpiritWalker or 53rd Dream or
Nirvana or Hollow Man or Brother Wolf, Sister Moon?
Has Adrenaline been done yet? That's piss easy!
How about some DCD?! Say - Indoctrination?! We've been planning a
cover of that, so I could transcribe the main riff...
