Ronald Blumenthal é o nome de batismo deste virtuoso guitarrista nova-iorquino, que atendeu também pela alcunha de Ron Thal e agora é conhecido apenas como Bumblefoot.
Está presente no cenário musical desde 1995, com 7 álbuns: 2 deles como Ron Thal e os demais com sua banda, também chamada Bumblefoot. O guitarrista tornou-se popular após ingressar na mega banda Guns N'Roses, substituindo o singular Buckethead.
