Bertolf ou Bertolf Lentink nasceu em 02 de Julho de 1980 em Dronten. Seu pai desde os 6 anos mostra músicas como "All I Have To Do Is Dream", do The Everly Brothers e começa o seu amor pela música americana incluindo The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers. Bertolf diz: "Eu cresci entre banjos e bandolins, as cores e sons de instrumentos apareceram quando eu era muito jovem. Está nos meus genes."
