Biografia:
Bárbara nasceu em 9 de fevereiro de 1943, Salem Michigan, EUA. Assinou com a Atlantic Records em 1961, Lewis obtivera alguns sucessos regionais antes de seu hits de maior sucesso “Hello Stranger" composição sua e que estabeleceu o seu estilo leve, mas cativante de cantar. Gravado em Chicago, o desempenho foi reforçada pelo apoio vocal dos Dells. singles posteriores incluem a vibrante 'Someday We're Gonna Love Again "(1965), e nos Lp’s” Baby I'm Yours “e” Make Me Your Baby ' (ambos de 1965) manteve sua forma de cantar.
