[Verse 1]
A F#m
He took a hundred pounds of clay..
Bm7 E7
and then He said, 'Hey, listen.'
A F#m
I'm gonna fix this-a world today..
Bm7 E7
because I know what's missin'.
D E7
Then He rolled his big sleeves up..
D E7
and a brand-new world began.
A F#m Bm7 E7 A
He created a woman and a-lots of lovin' for a man,
F#m D E7
whoa-oh-oh, yes, he did..

[Verse 2]
A F#m
With just a hundred pounds of clay..
Bm7 E7
He made my life worth livin'.
A F#m
And I will thank Him every day..
Bm7 E7
for every kiss you're givin'.
D E7
And I'll thank Him every night..
D E7
for the arms that hold me tight.
A F#m Bm7 E7 A
And He did it all with just a hundred pounds of clay..
F#m A
yes, He did, yes, He did.

[Bridge]
A A#dim
Now can'tcha just see Him a-walkin' 'round and 'round,
Bm7 E7
pickin' the clay up off the ground?
A A#dim
Doin' just what He should do,
Bm7 E7
to make a livin' dream like you..

[Verse 3]
D E7
He rolled His big sleeves up..
D E7
and a brand new world began.

He created a woman and a-lots of lovin' for a man.
F#m D
whoa-oh-oh, yes, He did..

[Outro]
D E7 A
with just a hundred pounds of clay..people let me tell
Bm7 E7 A
ya what He did, with just a hundred pounds of clay.
