Ele nasceu no dia 17 de maio de 2001 em Nebraska. Começou apresentando seu talento em vídeos curtos no Instagram, onde ele tem mais de 1,5 milhão de seguidores. AJ é um jovem compositor e cantor que já desenvolveu um estilo distinto na música. Ele toca instrumentos musicais acompanhando seu próprio canto. AJ trotou seu caminho independentemente, recentemente ele se mudou para Los Angeles para tentar desenvolver sua carreira musical onde em 2017, ele lançou seu primeiro single "Used to Be".
