A Thousand Horses é uma banda norte-americana de Southern Rock fundada em Nashville, Tennessee. A banda é composta por Michael Hobby (Vocal/Gaita), Bill Satcher (Guitarra/Slide), Zach Brown (Guitarra/Backing Vocals), Graham Deloach (Baixo) e Shane Lenzen (Bateria).
Em 2003, Michael Hobby e Bill Satcher se encontraram em uma loja de música em sua cidade natal, no condado de Newberry, Carolina do Sul. Os dois se tornaram bons amigos, fãs de Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers
