Biografia:
Quando a vocalista Natalie Merchant deixou o 10,000 Maniacs, em 1993, a banda entrou em um período de crise que quase resultou em sua dissolução. Afinal, substituir a cantora era uma tarefa extremamente difícil, pois ela era o centro das atenções da banda.
Apesar das dificuldades, o grupo decidiu seguir em frente, recebendo a adesão da vocalista Mary Ramsey, que já participara de vários trabalhos do 10,000 Maniacs tocando violino e viola (trata-se de um instrumento similar ao violino, com dimensões maiores).
