Biografia:
Não se trata do velho modelo de carro da Ford. Mas, sim, de uma das bandas mais aclamadas do Indie Rock dos anos 80. O Galaxie 500 foi formado em 1987 [Boston], pelo neozelandês [radicado nos EUA] Dean Wareham, pelos americanos Damon Krukowski e Naomi Yang . Em 1987, o trio lançou o primeiro single 'Tugboat'. Já no ano seguinte sai o primeiro álbum, 'Today'. Com forte influência do Velvet Underground, o Galaxie 500 se tornou cultuado na Europa após o lançamento do segundo álbum 'On Fire'.
