Kill Hannah foi uma banda de rock alternativo formada em Chicago por Mat Devine. Após um término de namoro doloroso com sua namorada, Hannah, Mat Devine começou a colar adesivos com a frase "KILL HANNAH" em CDs independentes da banda da qual fazia parte. Não se sabe direito como, mas logo depois, Mat conheceu Greg Corner, e juntos recrutaram mais dois membros para o Kill Hannah.
