Biografia:
Cantautor Jim Noir nació en 1982 en Davyhulme, Manchester, la misma ciudad que dió a luz a Morrissey 23 años antes. Su vena musical emergió temprano, él estaba fascinado con la televisión como un niño, y en el instituto, realizó espectáculos y participó en varios concursos de Kar. Su actuación de 808 State's "En Yer Face" con su amigo Batfinks fue un momento definitivo para el joven Noir donde decidió que su vida estaría dedicada a la música.
