Gotthard é uma banda de hard rock originária de Lugano, Tessin, na Suíça.
A história do Gotthard começa em 1989 na cidade de Lugano, Suíça, quando o vocalista Steve Lee e o guitarrista Leo Leoni deixam o Forsale e montam a banda Krak, gravando um álbum que permanece na gaveta até hoje. O amigo e baixista Marc Lynn completa o time e depois de algumas trocas de baterista, Hena Habegger assume o posto.
