Nascida em Bath, Bristol, no Reino Unido, Gabrielle Anne Aplin criou uma página no YouTube em fevereiro de 2008, postando alguns covers e recebendo muitos acessos. Assim então continua postando até hoje só que agora com algumas músicas feitas por si mesma.
