Virgina Gin Wigmore nasceu em Auckland, Nova Zellândia. Uma cantora com uma voz potente, que soa como Macy Gray. E Suas letras fortes e secas, cuja a auto-biografia tem altos e baixos. Ela diz que a história dela é simples e ela quer atingir as pessas com um toque de mistério.
Aos 16 anos, enquanto estava na Argentina, seu pai morreu de câncer. Após seu retorno à Nova Zelândia, ela escreveu uma canção para expressar a dor de perder seu pai.
