Eric Johnson é um guitarrista e compositor estadunidense. Nasceu em 17 de Agosto de 1954 em Austin, Texas, Estados Unidos. Ingressou na música influenciado por músicos como Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Chet Atkins, John McLaughlin, Wes Montgomery e Django Reinhardt. De encantadora sonoridade, o timbre de Eric é pontuado por belas frases melódicas e timbre limpo. O guitarrista já recebeu vários prêmios e entrou para o Hall of Fame da revista norte-americana Guitar Player Magazine.
