Chet Faker é um cantor e produtor de mãos cheias de Melbourne, Austrália. Em 2011, seu nome rodou o mundo pela sua versão chill-out chapadona do clássico r&b dos anos 90, “No Diggity“, do grupo Blackstreet. Agora, podemos ouvir seu trabalho autoral com mais detalhes. E que detalhes… O título “Thinking In Textures” é bem adequado ao conteúdo. Um som calmo e relaxante, com diversas texturas e camadas sonoras influênciadas pelo jazz e soul, mas com produção eletrônica.

The riffs presented in the Sonia Dada version of the tab is
different than the one played in this cover. The key is a half step lower as well.
The guitarist in the video does a couple variations on the same riff on repeat, which is built from the
two chords played on the 6th fret. Focus on the bass strings. Strumming pattern is all downstrokes,
fast consistent tempo, but palm-muting most of the strokes, simulating the rhythm of the shaker. The notes in
the riff fit in between the muted strums.
