Biografia:
A banda conta com o guitarrista Matt Sweeney , que anteriormente era membro da Mephitidae e wider além de cantar. O baterista James Lo também veio do wider ; a banda é arredondada pelo guitarrista Clay Tarver ( Marcador Lavolta ) e o baixista Scott Marshall .
Chavez nunca parou oficialmente, mas não tem lançado nenhum material novo e jogou alguns shows entre 1999 e 2006.
