Biografia:
Charley Pride, nació el18 de marzo de 1938. Su mayor éxito llegó a mediados de la década de 1970, cuando se convirtió en el artista mejor vendido de RCA Records desde Elvis Presley . Su éxito en las listas y las grabaciones desde finales de 1980 han sido esporádicos, pero siguió de giras con éxito.
Es uno de los pocos afroamericanos que han tenido un éxito considerable en la industria de la música blanca del pais y el único que se instalo en el Grand Ole Opry .
