Biografia:
Charles Brown, nacido en Texas en 1922, se licencio en químicas y trató de abrirse camino como investigador, pero la guerra y la depresión económica, le llevó por el camino de la música y obtuvo en el piano el instrumento adecuado para ese fin. Comenzó su carrera en Los Ángeles. Actuó en el Lincoln Theatre y en el Chicken Shack de Ivie Anderson antes de crear con el contrabajista Eddie Williams y el guitarrista Johnny Moore, el trío "The Three Blazers".
