Biografia:
Cerys Matthews es una cantautora nacida en Cardiff, Gales, conocida por ser la cantante de la banda Catatonia. Una vez que la banda se separó, ella comenzó su carrera solista.
Después de grabar cuatro discos con Catatonia (Way Beyond Blue, International Velvet, Equally Cursed And Blessed y Paper Scissor Stone), en 2001 anunció que dejaba la banda.
En 2002 Matthews se mudó a Nashville en busca de un nuevo comienzo. Recolectó 76 canciones tradicionales folk con la idea de hacer un disco de covers.
