Biografia:

Catharsis was an influential American hardcore band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina that was active from 1994 to 2002. They were known for writing extremely lengthy songs (sometimes broken into multiple parts) with complex title names and unusual time signatures. Catharsis innovated and influenced hardcore worldwide with its great music and political ativism through Crimethinc collective. Through the years Catharsis has acquired a highly devoted group of fans in DIY hardcore scene all over the world, reaching status of cult band.
