Biografia:
Os Carpenters foram uma dupla musical da década de 1970, composta pelos irmãos Karen (1950-1983) e Richard Carpenter (1946-). Com seu estilo melódico, eles levaram à parada de sucessos muitas canções no Top 40 da música americana, tornando-se representantes do soft rock e se incluindo entre os artistas mais representativos da década.
Nascidos em New Haven, Connecticut, Estados Unidos, (Richard Lynn Carpenter em 15 de outubro de 1946, e Karen Anne Carpenter em 2 de março de 1950)
