Biografia:
Carly Elisabeth Simon (Nova Iorque, 25 de Junho de 1945) é cantora e compositora.
Iniciou a carreira cantando música folk no início dos anos 1960 em parceria com sua irmã Lucy Simon formando, juntas, a dupla The Simon Sisters. A dupla separou-se, por ocasião do casamento de Lucy, e Carly prosseguiu sozinha.
Seu álbum de estréia, em 1971, lançou o hit "That's The Way I've Always Heard It Should Be". A letra, tratando de questões como o casamento
