Carl Carlton, nascido em 21 de maio de 1952, Detroit, Michigan, é um cantor e compositor americano mais conhecido por seus hits "Everlasting Love" e "She's a Bad Mama Jama (She's Built, She's Stacked)".
Durante o fim de 1960 Carl Carlton entra em cena como "Little Stevie”. Uma jogada de marketing para divulgar seu trabalho mais rapidamente, já que sua voz lembrava muito a de Stevie Wonder. Depois de emplacar alguns hits localmente, Carlton assina um contrato com Don D.
