Biografia:

O Caravan foi originalmente formado no começo de 1968 das cinzas do lendário grupo The Wilde Flowers. Todos os quatro membros iniciais chegaram a trabalhar nessa banda. O Caravan foi uma enorme mudança nos rumos musicais. A primeira composição do Caravan foi uma peça intitulada "Where But For Caravan Would I", co-escrita por Brian Hopper, de uns 10 minutos de duração e cheia de variações. Ela apareceu no primeiro álbum da banda, auto-intitulado, sendo que as outras faixas eram músicas mais suaves com toques psicodélicos.
