Biografia:
Camel é uma banda britânica de rock progressivo formada em 1971. O grupo lançou seu primeiro álbum em 1973 pela MCA Records. Desbandaram por um breve período em 1981 mas retornaram com mudanças na formação. Em 2003 o Camel fez sua turnê de despedida. Camel quer dizer camelo em inglês e como o período do auge da banda também coincidiu com o auge da propaganda de uma marca de cigarros que empregava a figura de um camelo fumando, os discos da banda foram boicotados pelos antitabagistas, o que precipitou sua decadência.
