Brendon Boyd Urie nasceu no dia 12 de abril, em Las Vegas, Nevada (EUA). É filho de Boyd e Grace Urie, nasceu numa família de mórmons, mas não seguiu a religião. Estudou em Pablo Verde High School em Las Vegas. Durante o colegial, trabalhou num 'Tropical Café Smoothies' em sua cidade.
