Biografia:
Bree Sharp (nascida na Filadélfia, dia 17 de Dezembro de 1975) aprendeu a tocar guitarra aos 15 anos de idade. Aos 17 anos, ela teve que se mudar para Nova Iorque para estudar teatro. Ela se voltou para a música e, ainda na faculdade, começou a escrever músicas, que conduziram-na a assinar contrato com a Trauma Records em 1998.
Em Julho de 1999, Sharp lançou seu primeiro álbum, A Cheap and Evil Girl. O primeiro single do álbum, "David Duchovny," rapidamente caiu na moda pela qualidade musical e pela referência cômica ao ator.
