On The Way To The Club

por Blur
Blur

Biografia:

O primeiro álbum, Leisure (1991), teve modesta repercussão entre o público, apesar do hit There's No Other Way.

Tuning: Standard
I know there's a little bit of lead guitar that disappears after a bit,
but if you want to play the song on acoustic or whatever then this
should work ok. Might be a little off here and there, but let me
know what you think. I figured it out through singing along,it seems close.
I don't know the lead during the intro (sorry!)but if you have any ideas,
then let me know so I can put it in and give you credit. Thanks and enjoy.

Intro: G - F - Bb

Verse 1:
G
And On My Way To The Club

F Bb
I Fell down a hole

G
All the people there

F Bb
Said you come alone

Chorus:
Dm Bb Dm
And I, I just want to be, darling with you

Bb
The music's made that way

Dm C
My eyes aren't blue

Bb A
There's nothing I can do

Verse 2:
G
So I stayed in the club

F Bb
Just rewarding myself

G
Happiness
F A
Could turn into something else

Chorus:
Dm Bb Dm
And I just wanna be, darling with you

Bb
The music's made that way

Dm C Bb A
My eyes aren't blue, there's nothing I can do

OUTRO: (repeat back and forth until ending)

G - Gm

NOTE: before the repeating fade out he sings something softly.
It almost sounds like"Why slow down?" or "I'm so down."
You can skip it and keep playing that last A of
the chorus or if you want to play that too then it's:
Bb Am C
I'm so down
The C sounds nice as a lead into the end in my opinion. Your call!

UG User camillorota suggests G - Bb for the ending which
you might prefer as well.
