Com um estilo musical parecido com The Decemberists e The Shins, mas com personalidade, a banda de folk-soul, Blind Pilot - formada inicialmente pelo vocalista/compositor/guitarrista Israel Nebeker e o bateirista Ryan Dobrowski, agora conta com Kati Claborn no banjo e na gaita de fole, Luke Ydstie no contra-baixo, Dave Jorgensen no trompete e no harmonio (instrumento com o mesmo som do orgão, porém mais compacto e sem tubos), e Ian Krist no vibrafone.
