Biografia:
Blind Blake é freqüentemente considerado um grande mistério dos Bluesman... não existem informações sobre sua vida. De acordo com a Paramount Book of Blues, ele nasceu por volta de 1890 em Jacksonville, Florida. Todavia, a Paramount também defende que ele poderia ter nascido em Tampa. Especula-se que tenha vivido muito tempo na Georgia Sea Islands devido seu domínio do dialeto indígena “geechee” dessas Ilhas. Também seu verdadeiro nome vive sob especulações.
