Biografia:
Formado em 1965 na cidade de Black Oak, no estado de Arkansas, o grupo se chamava originalmente The Knowbody Else, e a formação original contava com James “Dandy” Mangrum nos vocais, Pat Daugherty no baixo, Wayne Evans na bateria e o trio Ricky Lee Reynolds, Stanley “Goober” Knight e Harvey “Burley” Jett nas guitarras.
Em 1969 a banda se mudou para a cidade de Memphis, no Tennessee, e assinou contrato com a Stax Records. Gravaram um único álbum pela companhia, “The Knowbody Else”, que acabou engavetado.
