Biografia:
Black Francis ou Frank Black é o líder da banda de rock alternativo Pixies. Seu nome verdadeiro é Charles Michael Kittridge Thompson IV. Charles era um universitário que, exausto da vida comum que levava, deixou tudo para trás junto com seu colega Joey Santiago e decidiram montar uma banda de rock. Através de um anúncio em jornal, encontraram Kim Deal para ser a baixista da banda. Kim chamou seu amigo, David e os quatro formaram então os Pixies.
