Biografia:
O Beulah surgiu em 1994 em San Francisco quando dois ex-colegas de trabalho Miles Kurosky e Bill Swan resolveram unir a vontade de se gravar um disco com um gravador de quatro canais. De lá para cá foram lançados três discos: o début "Handsome Western States" (1997), lançado pela Elephant 6 e que eles alegam ser lo-fi por necessidade e não pela nobre causa do indie rock: a dupla gastava um mês e meio para gravar cada uma das canções em seu gravador doméstico, até finalizar os trabalhos após 16 meses.
