Isso porque ele é um rapaz de 20 anos, de Bath na Inglaterra que um, dia fez um vídeo no YouTube dando dicas às pessoas de como elas podiam ter seus vídeos mostrados na página principal do site e acreditem ou não, o vídeo com imagem pobre e um menino novinho, magrinho e meio prolixo fez com que Charlie aparecesse na página principal do YouTube e conquistasse vários subscribers para o seu canal.
