Biografia:

Ben Sollee é um cantor, letrista e violoncelista clássico americano. Sua música incorpora banjo, violão, percussão e violoncelo técnicas incomuns para criar uma singular mistura de folk, bluegrass, jazz e R&B.

Suas primeiras influências musicais foram Wilson Pickett, Ray Charles, Billie Holiday e Otis Redding. Mais tarde, ele descobriu a música folk.

Em 2005, juntou-se com Sollee Abigail Washburn (banjo e vocal), Bela Fleck (banjo) e Casey Driessen (violino) para formar o Quarteto Sparrow.

He does this one progression throughout most of the song. Repetitive, but it suits the mood of the song in my
opinion. The transition from F to G produces almost a natural slide on the second stroke of the F. Use it,
or don't, but it just kinda happens for me.
