Belasco é uma banda indie de Londres, Inglaterra. O grupo surgiu em 2000, com alguns altos e baixos nunca obtendo um sucesso proporcional à sua qualidade. Com o seu primeiro album, Simplicity, obtiveram imensa crítica positiva tendo a revista Uncut declarado que os belasco "têm melhores músicas e melhores ambições que a maioria das novas bandas. Ponham-se a pau Coldplay!". Embora os Coldplay ainda possam respirar à vontade, o que é certo é que os Belasco melhoraram imenso de 2000 a 2005
