Biografia:
Avatar é uma banda de Metal e Death metal melódico de Gotemburgo, Suécia, ao contrário dos rótulos que a banda recebe, como Black Metal e Brutal Death Metal, não é isto que a banda passa, pois existem várias outras bandas em diversos países rotuladas como Avatar.
A banda foi formada em 2001 pelo baterista John Alfredsson e o vocalista Christian Rimmi, depois de um início turbulento, o line up atual no outono de 2003 Avatar tem visto várias turnês europeias em Maio de 2006
