Biografia:
Avantasia é um projeto musical concebido em 1999, por Tobias Sammet, vocalista da banda Edguy. O título parte da junção de duas palavras: Avalon (local mistico nas histórias do Rei Arthur) e Fantasia, e descreve "um mundo além da imaginação humana". O projeto reúne grandes músicos e cantores de heavy metal, como Michael Kiske, Jorn Lande, Andre Matos, Oliver Hartmann, Kai Hansen, entre outros.
Uma das principais características de Avantasia é a proposta bem sucedida de uma Metal Opera que foi dividido em dois discos
