Smith e Ryan Nalepa (guitarra / teclas) reuniram-se um culto de verão, em um acampamento da juventude localizado cerca de 45 minutos a sudeste de Gettysburg, na Pensilvânia no final de uma estrada chamada Grave Run em rural Maryland. Faz todo o sentido que uma banda que não se coíbe de tratar de temas sombrios e duras realidades que, em essência, nascer nas sombras da batalha mais sangrenta da nossa nação - apropriadamente, uma batalha que provou ser um ponto de viragem na história
