Biografia:
Arwen foi formada na metade do ano de 1996 a partir de uma ideia do guitarrista Jose A. Garrido e o baixista Luisma Hernandez, com a intenção de refletir na sua música um pouco de metal melódico progressivo e agressivo.
Em 1997 Nacho Ruiz entrou para a banda como vocalista e guitarrista, mais tarde ele se dedicou unicamente aos vocais. Nesse período a mistura de ideias entre os tres compositores deu frutos e gerou canções com influencias Celtas.
