Artist Vs Poet uma banda de Powerpop que se formou em 2007 em Dallas, Texas.
A banda se formou após o termino da banda de Tarcy Thomason e assim ele decidiu criar um projeto acústico e postou em seu myspace, o guitarrista Craig Calloway foi o primeiro a responder, eles escreveram algumas músicas e logo notaram que deveria ser uma banda completa, assim Tarcy convidou seu amigo Joe Westbrook que era baterista de sua antiga banda, e logo encontraram o guitarrista / vocalista Joe Kirkland e
