Vindo da remota Carolina do Norte (EUA), o Annuals é um sexteto liderado por Adam Baker. Formada por volta de 2004, em 2006 a banda já lançava seu primeiro disco, Be He Me, mas por muito tempo seu nome ficou restrito a blogs e sites independentes.
