Biografia:
Andrew Wells VanWyngarden (1 de Fevereiro de 1983) é um músico norte-americano de Middletown, Connecticut, e um dos membros fundadores da banda MGMT (anteriormente conhecida como The Management, formada em 2002). Andrew é o vocalista, guitarrista e compositor da banda.
O seu pai, Bruce VanWyngarden (compositor, guitarrista e baterista), ensinou-o a tocar guitarra, desde os cinco anos de idade. Este, inclusive, influenciou-o a ouvir músicos/bandas como Talking Heads, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon.
